The Angels Lead St. Rosalia to Monte Pellegrino

This is the episode in the legend of St. Rosalia of Palermo in which the angels lead her from her hermitage on Monte Quisquina in Sicily to a considerably less comfortable cave on Monte Pellegrino, which overlooks Palermo.

The writing below the picture means, "St. Rosalia is called by the angels from the cave of Quisquina to Erectensis / From a sculpture in Bivona." Erectensis was the name of the mountain before Rosalia's cell became a place of pilgrimage.
